Head of Influencer
We’re looking for someone with extensive social strategy experience to champion Anchor’s influencer marketing principles and build impactful influencer strategies across our roster of global brands.
As we continue to connect and inspire through our work with global brands, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Influencer to join our team. As a social-first company, there is an opportunity to play a critical role in the growth trajectory of the agency with nurturing client relationships and business development opportunities. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for overseeing organic influencer marketing initiatives to drive both upper and lower funnel brand objectives. As Head of Influencer you will be responsible for strategy creation utilizing tech and creativity and the development of strategic services.
Key Qualifications
10+ years of experience in brand communications, social media management, and/or public relations, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in storytelling.
Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with experience in developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
Demonstrated experience in influencer marketing, including setting comprehensive strategies with clear KPIs for success.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools and reporting metrics paired with ability to use research and data to deliver insights that fuel the creative process across the business.
Proactive problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving industry.
Approaches discussions and decision-making with humility, embracing diverse perspectives and remaining open-minded to robust opinions.
Responsibilities
Maintaining a deep understanding of our clients’ challenges and needs to tackle complex briefs into bespoke, data-driven strategy development and visualization
Act as the key point of contact to clients and internal management to ensure the work delivered for clients is constantly aligned to the vision and delivers brand objectives including visibility, engagement, and conversion.
Managing influencer campaign management and insights and analytics teams to ensure effective curation and implementation
Lead the strategic planning and execution of channel-specific initiatives with a collective mindset, ensuring they resonate deeply with client brand values while driving toward shared objectives and key performance indicators.
Champion a culture of collaboration and growth within agency, recognizing and nurturing the strengths of each individual to cultivate a winning environment where everyone thrives.
Define clear, ambitious goals and metrics for each client initiative and adapt strategies accordingly to maximize impact and return on investment.
Stay ahead of the curve in our ever-evolving industry, harnessing emerging trends, technologies, and consumer insights to inform channel strategy and inspire innovation in influencer sponsored content creation, distribution, and engagement.
Inspire creativity and excellence in all aspects of communication, setting a high standard for quality, authenticity, and impact that reflects our commitment to being different.
Identifying opportunities for growth and cultivating strategic alliances and partnerships with external collaborators to develop new business development opportunities for the agency.

The salary range for this position is competitive. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience and qualifications. At this time, we are only able to accept applicants residing within the United States with a strong preference for candidates in the DC, Maryland and Virginia region.
